The 2016 Golden Globes was a step forward in fashion for the new year. The red carpet was star studded with designer’s best work from JLo in a yellow caped  Giambattista Valli Couture gown, to JLaw in a sophisticated bold red Christian Dior gown with partial cut outs. Here are the top 5 best dressed at the 2016 Golden Globes.

  1. First place goes to Violia Davis in Marchesa with Jacob & Co. jewels, shoes by Stuart Weiztman, and a clutch by Judith Leiber. Her flowy jeweled gown complemented her figure like no other. She simply took the cake.
  2. In second place we have Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Atelier Versace and Jimmy Choo shoes. She rocked this beautiful tan dress that perfectly synched in to flatter her petite figure.
  3. Zendaya takes third in Marchesa with Yoko London pearl and diamond earrings and ring, a Marchesa clutch, and a Lydia Courteille garnet and diamond ring. She easily pulled off the layered peplum look.
  4. Laverne Cox placed fourth in Elizabeth Kennedy with a Nathalie Trad clutch. She looked so put together and fabulously sophisticated in her high collared white fitted gown. Gina Rodriguez in Zac Posen with Neil Lane jewelry and Jimmy Choo shoes. Her dark blue off the shoulder ball gown had defined lines that perfectly suited her feminine Latin curves.
